Love a good pie? For highway grub this place is a must, nice little stopper on a trip to/from Canberra. Plenty of drink selections, coffee is pretty decent, loads of seats, bathrooms and a nice balcony. Plenty of parking around too which makes it an easy option.
Well worth a stop here for the pies. Even the basic traditional meat pie has chunky beef pieces and delicious gravy. The potato pie only had typical mince and wasnt as good. Busy, but very efficiently run. Good amount of seating and clean toilets.
Busy but efficiently run.The usual mix of Aussie pies and a large range of pastries which looked good.My chunky chicken pie was good and hot. I'd like to have a larger range of chunky meat pies with veg.The toilet was nice and clean.Reasonable amount of parking too
Stayed at the bakehouse motel next door. Had the BEST bacon and egg roll here for breakfast before heading off. Egg was slightly oozy still, just perfect. The coffee is lovely, smooth and full of flavor. You know that rare moment where the coffee was actually right and you get to the bottom of your cup and wish there was more? Very busy, due to high quality goods. Nice cafe atmosphere to eat and relax in. Will be stopping off here any time we travel this stretch of road.
Fabulous bakery. Best salad sandwiches and wraps make from freshly cooked chicken made every day on premises. Great coffee but it all can be very busy and difficult to arrive and go quickly. I suppose its all the great fresh baking that brings the crowds! Parking good and nice toilets.
