Friendly, very budget, beds good and clean all facilities available. Shower good, decor leaves a lot to be desired.
Basic clean accommodation with toaster kettle and microwave
If your aim is the absolute cheapest motel experience in Goulburn, and comfort be damned, or maybe you are hankering for some Soviet era Gulag charm, or maybe you just want to stay somewhere which will make you appreciate every other place you will stay, then this is the place for you. The heater barely worked and seemed operate on the principle of converting noise to heat... Or perhaps the UFO sound indicated some thermal technology with which I am not familiar. It did keep the room livable despite being a chilly -5 C outside. There was no lamp so the lighting was a binary all or nothing affair and made the last persons trip into bed a fun game of visual memory.The shower was the most unique I've ever experienced, being a nightmarish combination of scalding hot jets and cool mist firing in random directions from the corroded clogged shower head.The toaster half worked but ejected the half toast with a blue flash, possibly signifying the half baked souls crossing over to World's end. We were not waterboarded during our stay however, which brings the rating up to 1 star.There was also plenty of pillows and blankets and the TV worked so that's another star.It is the cheapest place in town, with all the responsibility that brings.
Great value. Comfortable, clean quiet and very pleasant decor. Kettle didn't work and insufficient crockery and the management didn't care. $10 at the op shop would have fixed this and then I'd have given them 5 stars.
