A good water hole. Foods good too
Totally the best tasting Australian burger I've ever had, chips and gravey yummy. Love the decor so much to see, well priced rooms can be a little noisy but for the price it's good. But the food is what you come here for definitely do not miss this little gem, beats any burger I've ever had through our travels. And cannot wait till I go back.
It is in a nice historical town. The hotel is good for an overnight but wouldn't stay for much longer. The rooms are quite run down and a little dirty.
The room was quite shabby carpet filthy with stains no wardrobe right above the pool room and close to beer garden never ending loud music from early morning until 10-30 pm or later. Bar fridge for guest use stunk with rotting food. Was quoted $55 a night (stayed 5 nights )for this room because it was the only one left but then when I tried to check out one night earlier they changed it to $66 a night so they didnt have to refund me the one night. I have stayed here before in nicer rooms and so has my son and also have recommended it to friends. But not now. I wont return because of the dishonesty. Shame because I did enjoy my past stays.
Solid place to lay your head for the night. Comfy bed and provided towels. Absolutely killer food (and portions), cheap too! The location is within a 5 minute walk to the main Street and and the staff here are great
