Disgusting. I dont care how much a room may cost, they are providing a service and their service was beyond subpar. The room was dirty, the stairwell was dark and awkward, I didnt even sleep inside of the bed due to the uncleanliness of it. I slept on top of the bed and covered myself with my own towel. They were going to refuse me entry to the room because I had booked it through Wotif and they could not find the booking, I showed them my receipt and itinerary and they still doubted that I had paid, I even showed them the transaction from by online bank account. I felt like they were trying to get me to pay again. All in all, find somewhere else to stay because this establishment does not deserve any patronage.
Very basic, thin walls and ceiling, can hear people walking around when trying to sleep. Good for a quick overnighters.
1 star and thats being for the closeness to main part of town. If this is the last place in town to stay go to canberra or anywhere else. What a dump!!!!! Filthy room broken tiles and to much more to mention. Never again
Would not recommend this Motel at all. Dirty floors, dirty coffee cups. Room smelt strongly of cigarettes. Sheets had not been changed as in pubic hairs in sheets and make up on pillow which had been turned over. Toilet was filthy. No soap in shower dispenser , shower curtain was mouldy and the extractor fan did not work. The electric switches were upside down and one of the bedside lamps had a bulb sitting on top of the socket. Someone was too lazy to actually screw it in. Thank the Lord I had a packet of 'wet wipes' with me which I used to wipe anything disgusting which was most of the room ! The hairdryer did not work and behind the bathroom tidy was fluff and bottle caps the cleaner had obviouly missed. Yes it was cheap, but cleanliness does not cost a lot. At least the aircon worked and the bed was comfortable even though we slept on the blanket because we ditched the sheets and pillow cases.
wet sticky stains on the sheets!, rubbish under the bed, in draws,very traffics noisy if you are staying on top.they had everything else like iron all coffee facilities and spoons and knifes, fridge etc... they need to clean the rooms better and need to make the top room very cheap and also advise them why it's cheap.they would get more respect from customer's.otherwise try the downstairs rooms ask for them see what there like.
